I help parents and caregivers find answers about how to help their kids. I provide consultation and psychological assessment to answer questions about diagnosis and treatment options. I enjoy working with parents and caregivers to demystify the psychological assessment process and use this service to help you meet your needs.
Although psychological assessment is my primary focus, I also take a limited number of therapy clients. I work with children and teens on managing depression, anxiety, and trauma, and with parents and caregivers on supporting successful behavior. Parents and caregivers I work with have described me as warm, genuine, and knowledgeable. I am good at connecting and building relationships with kids of all ages, from toddler to teen.
I earned my Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin, and completed my predoctoral internship at Texas Child Study Center and my postdoctoral fellowship at Austin Child Guidance Center. I then continued to work at Austin Child Guidance Center for 8 years, providing psychological assessment and therapy services as well as serving as a supervisor to trainees.
I’m originally from the East Coast but have made Austin my home for almost two decades. I bike almost everywhere and I enjoy a variety of outdoor recreational activities. I have two children.
